Evangelization and Outreach

 IN 2014 after attending a workshop by John and Theresa Boucher, called "Sharing the Faith That You Love" this ministry was formed at Good Shepherd Parish. The first couple of years were evangelizing the person in the pew.
 
 We decided to take the next big step (Outreach) and go out into the community at large gatherings in the town. Starting with a canopy tent, a parish banner, we gave away bibles, rosaries, Christian based items for children and adults.  We had literature on who is Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church and many more topics about the Church. Made a brochure on our parish and ministries with contact information.. We met and listened to many stories of peoples lives and shared ours with them. We would see the children first, they saw "free". The parents standing a distance behind them. It was the children who brought them in.
 
 Since then we have attended:
 The Uxbridge First Night Celebration (3 years with a float in parade)
 Uniquely Uxbridge Day (2 years)
 The Uxbridge 4th of July Celebration (2 years)
  Linwood neighborhood free BBQ - by door to door invitation.
 

Bring them to the door, step aside and let Jesus take over!
