Our new St. Mary Family Ministry is sponsoring “Raising Good Kids,” a four-week book discussion group to help parents raise good kids while keeping Christ at the center of the family. The book being used is Raising Good Kids, Back to Family Basics by Dr. Ray Guarendi who has been featured on EWTN. The good news is the book is small – it’s only 60 pages (5 chapters). (You can do this!!)
The fun part is Moms will come one week and Dads will come the next week! Then they can discuss what they’ve learned at home. At the end of the sessions, families will be invited to join together after the 9:00 am Mass on June 12 to have some fun on our playground. The hope is to form new friendships in faith, support one another as parents, and to build up the body of Christ especially at St. Mary Church.
Alieya and Michael Biggins are hosting these sessions. There is no cost as a generous parishioner is providing the books. A light breakfast will also be provided.
Please register below so there are enough books for everyone. For more information, please email Diane at [email protected] or call the office at 508-278-2226.

The family is, so to speak, the domestic church. In it parents should, by their word and example, be the first preachers of the faith to their children; they should encourage them in the vocation which is proper to each of them, fostering with special care vocation to a sacred state. (Lumen Gentium, 11)
