"Let mutual love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it."
Hebrews 13:1-2
Hospitality, therefore, means primarily the creation of a free space where the stranger can enter and become a friend instead of an enemy. Hospitality is not to change people, but to offer them space where change can take place.
Henri J. Nouwen
Hospitatlity at St. Mary's is the work of everybody in the pews; that said, we do have a dedicated group of parishoners engaged in greeting parishioners and visitors as they enter our doors before Mass, offering a kind word and assistance as needed.
