Meeting Christ in Prayer

We are so blessed to have Denise and Bob Vose coming to our parish to facilitate two sessions (8 weeks) of Meeting Christ in Prayer. This program is modeled on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola and helps participants to encounter Jesus Christ in a new way, develop a deeper relationship with him, and renew their participation in his risen life.  It can also inspire a profound sense of mission that urges participants to a new level of discipleship. 

Participants are asked to commit themselves to meeting once a week for eight weeks and to praying and reflecting daily, using the guided exercises that are provided. No prior experience in praying with others is needed, just a desire to renew one’s faith, enrich one’s prayer life, or become more aware of God’s presence in everyday life.

Morning Session: 
Wednesday, Sept. 4, 11, 18, 25, Oct. 2, 9, 16, & 23
9:30 am - 10:45 am

Evening Session: 
Monday, Aug. 26, Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30, Oct.7, 14, & 21

6:30 pm - 8:00 am
